Meine Meinung

Dieses Buch habe ich aus drei Gründen gelesen. 1. Es ist eine Reclamausgabe und passt zu meiner diesjährigen Challenge . 2. It's a Winnie-the-Pooh book. 3. It is in English.

I can and must first say that I am a big Pooh fan. Formerly the Disney series on television and later the corresponding radio plays. Only much later - in adulthood - I realized that reading these stories in English in particular - the original language of the work - poses a great pleasure. The stories come in the original language, just out much better and the humor of Milne much better over. I also had planned for this year anyway, to read even a few books in English. Reclam advantage of this issue is that some words are translated directly into the footer, so you put it on any case be understood. This is I think very helpful for children or for people like me, whose English is a bit rusty.

I liked this book very well. It includes 10 chapters / stories. These are so beautiful to read. To me they conjure up every time a smile on your face. This Reclam edition I own twice. "Always have" one for my handbag and one for my bookshelf. Beautiful are the drawings of Shephard. These are in this issue in black-and-white. There are also editions in which they are colored. For me it's in b / w almost as beautiful color.

I recommend this book (or other expenditure like it) each his heart lay - not whether or Pooh lovers. If you approach an open mind on the book, it will take one with a world in which everything is possible.

Hint: If someone want to read the books in German, then please do the translation of Harry Rowohlt. Instead look to translations by Schiffer, Lehrburger or Torris. These are much nicer. And yes, I can tell, I have indeed both.
